RETREATS
* due to my relocation to colorado, I am not currently offering retreats. However, I hope to do so in the future again, so read below to see what I've offered in the past and get a feel for if this is something that interests you for the future.
HALF-DAY GETAWAYS
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Half-Day Getaways offer anyone and everyone (you don't have to be a yogi to enjoy one, I promise!) a chance to get away from your routine and experience peace and healing. These times will include yoga (the physical practice you're used to hearing about, plus lots of focus on the breath and mindfulness) as well as built-in time to walk or rest in nature to soak in the beauty around you and guided journaling time. We'll end the time with a light and healthy meal.
We will offer different Getaways - some will be for those who have practiced yoga before, while others will be for total beginners. We want everyone to feel welcome. We don't want you to be intimidated or scared off by the word "yoga" - it doesn't mean you have to touch your toes, I promise! I have worked with students on the whole spectrum of physical ability and yoga experience, from a 76-year-old who had NEVER practiced yoga before to some who have practiced for 20 years. We are all on a journey toward wholeness, and these are tools that have been proven to be highly effective along the way - that is all. Nothing scary about it.
$70 includes:
- one 90-minute Yoga session
- one 30-minute Yoga session
- over an hour of quiet time alone in nature
- Cozy Leaf tea (locally crafted, wonderful organic tea made by my dear friend Abby Hannaford, sold at Whole Foods and a growing number of other places in the midwest), spa water, and snacks
- a light meal
*mats, props, healthy hydration, and lunch are all provided. Please feel free to bring your own mat or props if you wish. Also consider bringing a journal, sketch paper, a book, or anything else you'd like to enjoy during your alone time.
