strength. balance. joy.
Yoga is such an amazing tool for change in our lives. Through the physical asanas (poses), we first develop strength and flexibility and balance. That balance spreads to other areas of our lives and we find that we are breathing deeper, learning new ways of coping with stress, feeling more present in the moment. More awake. We feel more at home in our own bodies and more confident in who we are. We notice that we are more positive - externally, but also internally, with ourselves. And then, one day - stronger, more flexible, more balanced in multiple areas of our lives, more able to take a deep breath instead of panic - we suddenly realize that our hearts are more open and we feel JOY. This, my friends, is the amazing and unique gift of yoga. This is why I practice. This is why I teach.
